Hildur I. Gudnadóttir (Iceland) is a cellist and composer. She is active in a variety of genres ranging from bulgarian folk music, to collaborating with pioneers Throbbing Gristle. She has been touring extensively in Europe, U.S.A. and Asia with Johann Johannsson, Pan Sonic, Schneider TM, Angel, múm and BJ Nilsen to name a few.
She has written music for various plays, films, movies and dance pieces. Hildur works a lot in mixed media, using tools like film and different multi-loudspeaker/instrument settings to broaden the perception of musical performances.
Her first solo album was released recently under the name Lost in hildurness.

Nina de Heney (Switzerland/Sweden) double-bass player. Studied with Miroslav Vitous at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, 1981-1983. Studied at The School of Music, University of Gothenburg, 1988-1993, diploma studies 2004-2006. Grants from The Swedish Art Grants Committee and the Sten A Olsson Foundation.

de Heney works as a freelance musician within the contexts of jazz and improvisation; as a solo artist as well as with groups such as the Christian Jormin 3, 9 Swans Repeat, Nordlund-de Heney Duo, Pfau, Henrik Wartel Trio, and Acoustic Electronics. She also collaborates in multidisciplinary art projects, among others with dancer Anna Westberg.

de Heney’s first solo record as well as Acoustic Electronics’ CD with Charlotte Hug and Christian Jormin were both released in 2007. The trio Pfau (de Heney, Lindha Kallerdahl, Anna Lindal) will release a new CD in 2008.

de Heney and the dancer Anna Westberg organize the festival Dance’n Bass at Atalante in May 2008; five dancers and five bass players will be performing in duo settings.

The project Nordstan No Shopping, where the Nordlund-de Heney Duo confront supermarket and consumer culture with improvised music, will be initialized during spring 2008.

Mia Makela (a.k.a SOLU) is finnish media+live cinema artist, teacher, investigator and cultural activist residing in Barcelona.
Her meta-narrative visual journeys are multilayered compositions of abstract, synthetic and figurative material. Her style has been described as "digital version of William Blake’s poetry" and dreamlike. She processes visual material with MAX/MSP/JITTER and Isadora software.

She has given lectures on various themes including robots, audiovisual culture, tactical sound and her own artistic work. Her latest occupation is PUBLIC.BCN which concentrates all her audiovisual activities under the same label (workshops, events, AV-community, site-specific projects, ideas)

Kate Pendry (UK/Norway) Pendry is a multiartist with a classical theatre background. She is known for her theatrical precision, dark humor, and ability to combine the personal and the political. Her performances are often regarded by the media as thematically controversial - in particular her concept Dead Diana, a critique of celebrity and monarchy. She has won a number of awards including Dans og- teatersentrums Scenekunstpris (for Sex In The Warzone Kosova). Pendry is currently writing a play for Det Norske Teater based on the Columbine high school massacre, as well as collaborating with hardcore metal band Blodspor.
Her radio show Sister Ruby Tuesday's Soul Show has been running for 5 years on Radio Orakel.

Lisa Ullén (Sweden) Improvisor, composer, pianist. Lisa Ullén works within the context of experimental music; as a soloist as well as with different constellations. Her musical influences range from free improvisation and jazz, to contemporary classical music and noise.
She likes controlled turgidness with minimalistic vibrations.

Lisa Ullén is educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, has pursued in-depth studies of improvisation in the USA, and has studied electro acoustic music at EMS, Stockholm.
